inward dreaming

We stand outside the front door looking in
Peering over the window sills to catch a glimpse
Our hearts and souls sing broken hymns
Regretting never having been born with that chance
Our dreams are over now
Been torn apart like soil under plow
Stuck on big city stoops
Bitter and cold as an angry night
We hate you!
We hate you!
We hate you!
Enjoy the head of the banquette table
Your bread basket of gold
Because we will never forgive you
For leaving us out in the cold
Frozen faces fixate
Ferry forsaken figures we are
Have come to take revenge
Inward watching you
Until the very end

Live Music

spinning rhythm while the record burns the heart urns for beat to be beat out of the radio
influx of sound pounds on the ear drum

the vibration replaces the heartbeat now the music pumps the blood through the vanes

quarter notes eighth notes drive the feet making useless of the brain
